We got so much more out of Brad Strickland's dog obedience class than we anticipated. He really exceeded our expectations. The class went beyond the basic commands to help teach us how to behave around our dogs and to gain control. By following his advice and instruction we have not only gotten our dogs to easily do what we want, we have improved our connection and bond with our dogs making the relationship with them much more enjoyable and fulfilling.

This is Derek and Kaye letting you know how impressed we are with how well Isa (our german shepherd dog) is doing since returning home. She is well behaved with great manners and reliable obedience without the need for treats. She is definately made great progress thanks to your board and train method with the e-collar. I am very impressed with the things she has learned during the short two week period she spent with you; however it seemed like longer because we did miss her tremendously. I am still amazed when Isa and I play outside and walk around the yard without the need for a leash. I would have originally said it wouldn't be possible for a dog to do this well off leash in such a short period of time. If anyone is contemplating using the e-collar I am very much an advocate because I have saw first hand how this tool allows us to communicate with Isa and Nate (our siberian husky). Although you conditioned Isa on the e-collar the time you
spent educating us on how she was trained allowed us condition Nate. Kaye had worked with Nate a couple of days with the e-collar and much to my suprise he started coming when called (which was not reliable at all before). It was amazing how easily he did what we asked when he clearly understood what he was being asked to do. We seldom even have to utilize the collar now because it has helped them understand what is expected. We have always been very appreciative of the time and effort you spent entertaining our questions and the consistant updates you gave us about her training. Isa was very well taken care of while in your training program and we Sincerely thank you for helping develop Isa into the family member we knew she was capable of being!

Brad - Thanks for your work with Walker. Since he's been home I've found him to be much more manageable and willing to take commands. He's slept soundly and had a great walk with me this morning. I'll have to find him some friends to play with as I'm sure he will be missing your pack! Your professionalism was exceptional and I really enjoyed the personalized "Walker Instructions." I'll be sure to keep in touch!

Rocco is doing great. He's an obedient and loving companion. He comes
when he's called, even if he has a live squirrel in his mouth (but he
shot me that "uh-oh, I'm in trouble" look), knows the "drop it" command
(see previous squirrel not), knows "stay," "down," "sit," etc. He does
creep up in the our bed during the night, but he stays down by our
feet....an excellent foot warmer!

Thank you for all of your hard work and patience with both Grover and me. I'm a huge believer in your board and train program as well as the e-trainer and the e-trainer training. Having Grover go through the board and train program and learn some basic commands and manners before he ever even came home made me so much more comfortable and confident as a first time dog parent. (Grover still loves to come and see you and your pack.) Later, the e-trainer and training turned walks in the park into walks as opposed to squirrel chases. A command to "leave it" now suffices (whether I'm using the e-trainer or not) making walks safer and more enjoyable. Still later, you made a first rate acting coach when Grover played the $5 dog in Cheaper by the Dozen! I have no hesitancy in recommending you to anyone in need of training help. I appreciate not only what you have done for Grover and me but also what you have done to help with the dogs at the shelter -- both as a trainer and as a spokesman.
